The votes are in! We've finally got a name.

This name is general to all incarnations of Holmesness. It voted best on the forum and even though "The Game is On" voted well, it's a bit too BBC's Sherlock specific. It gets the point across that we're a Holmes publication and it's also pretty catchy. Hopefully we can get the ball rolling a bit faster now that we have something to identify ourselves with.

It's not active yet (should take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours to go live), but it's ours.

When I get home from work I'll set up FTP access and logins for people who'll be doing the actual design work.

I had some free time at work (website I was supposed to be testing was down) and the registration process takes all of seconds. The longest wait is going to be for the domain to become active. I thought we should at least have that before we ask people to submit things. Gives us an air of stability, you know? "No, we're legit! Look, we have a domain!"

That's cool. I was over at the forum and noticed we have an email for sumbissions. When would that be up/should people just PM for this first one?

Well, we don't have one YET Not until the domain's working... so keep using this one.

The submissions emails will probably be more helpful later, when there's more going on and more stuff coming in, that way one person won't be totally overwhelmed.
